The quote that I’ve used as the tagline for my blog “Sometimes, I get the feeling that I’m stranded in the wrong time, where love is just a lyric in a children’s rhyme.” comes from a song by Keane called “Is it any wonder?” I was listening to this song while driving back to West Lafayette after visiting my parents this past weekend, and I was simply struck by this line. I feel that this sums me up in a lot of ways (if that’s possible in one line of a song, but hey… just humor me). I think that our society creates unrealistic views and expectations about love… oftentimes in children’s movies(!) Anyway, I don’t know that I really want to keep going with this topic because there is much to be said… I just thought I would change my blog title as I’m no longer living in France, and this blog will be more of my reflections on life. hmmmmm…. I wonder if any of you will keep reading
